极端温度

我们都有喜欢的天气和温度。我非常不喜欢炎热的天气，所以我宁愿温度呆在零下30°C的气温中，也不愿呆在30°C的气温中。尽管我生活在一个非常寒冷的国家，但夏天常常又热又湿。因为夏天很不舒服，所以我越来越喜欢寒冷的季节，而不是温暖的季节。在我的国家，大多数房屋和建筑物都有暖气，这样在冬天很容易保暖。然而，并不是每个家庭都有空调，这让夏天呆在室内很不愉快。我多希望这样极端的天气不存在！但如果必须要我选择的话，我每天都会选择低温天气。

Extreme Temperatures

We all have preferences about the seasons and temperatures we like. I dislike hot weather so much that I would much rather be in -30°C than 30°C weather. Even though I live in a country that gets very cold, it’s often too hot and humid during the summer. Since the summers can be so uncomfortable, I have grown to like colder seasons more than warmer seasons. Most homes and buildings have heaters which make it easy to stay warm during winter. However, not every home has air conditioners which makes staying indoors unpleasant in summer. How I wish there weren’t such extreme weather conditions! But if I had to choose, I would pick cold temperatures any day!

It’s cold today, stay warm.

• 极端 jíduān - extreme 

有些情况是极端的，但这次不是。

Some situations are extreme but this one is not.
